The Bernina Express runs from Chur Switzerland to Tirano Italy and is for tourists. The fares are high, so i took the Rhaetian Railway train via St Moritz, same route and and a hourly service. Spectacular route cross the Alps. There are 55 tunnels, 196 bridges, and the highest point is 2,253 metres above sea level. The Brusio Circular Viaduct ,the train does a 360 degrees turn,is just 15 minutes from the end of the line in Tirano Italy. The Rhaetian Railway is a metre gauge track.
